{"id":3331,"date":"2022-04-20T14:18:07","date_gmt":"2022-04-20T14:18:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/branko.levelap.rs\/?post_type=projekti&#038;p=3331"},"modified":"2022-04-20T14:18:08","modified_gmt":"2022-04-20T14:18:08","slug":"destinies-1988-1990%ef%bf%bc","status":"publish","type":"projekti","link":"https:\/\/brankopelinovic.com\/en\/projekti\/destinies-1988-1990%ef%bf%bc\/","title":{"rendered":"Destinies (1988-1990)\ufffc"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pelinovi\u0107 with filmmaker Bo\u017eidar Kalezi\u0107 took us to the psychiatry department of the Central Prison in Belgrade for the project <em>Trepta\u010di svemira<\/em> (1989) which has been described as our version of <em>Flight over the Cuckoo\u2019s nest<\/em>. As a result of wandering along prison corridors, getting closer to prisoners and seeing suffering of tormented minds, Pelinovi\u0107 produced a series of photographs that would go on to be shown throughout Europe (inc. Naples and Paris).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In his photographs he explored life in correctional facilities and people who were on the other side of the law &#8211; considered by society as \u2018monsters\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He posed the question<em> \u201cWhat is the difference between life behind bars and our life outside?\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">and answered with photos of characters in an environment in which human life continues with spiritual suffering and a darkness in the mind.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":3101,"template":"","class_list":["post-3331","projekti","type-projekti","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry"],"blocksy_meta":{"styles_descriptor":{"styles":{"desktop":"","tablet":"","mobile":""},"google_fonts":[],"version":7}},"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/brankopelinovic.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/projekti\/3331","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/brankopelinovic.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/projekti"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/brankopelinovic.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/projekti"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/brankopelinovic.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/3101"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/brankopelinovic.com\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=3331"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
